Arrival confirmed; mandate invented

Flávio Bolsonaro arrived in Miami Wednesday. He alleged an electoral coup without providing evidence; Lula’s victory has been recognized by Brazil’s electoral court and Bolsonaro’s own party.

The letter changes its job title

With nearly 86% counted, broadcasters projected 53 seats for Netanyahu’s bloc, 48 for Gadi Eisenkot’s bloc and 19 for Arab parties. A majority requires 61 of 120 seats.

Caretaker still holds consequential powers

Netanyahu remains prime minister during coalition negotiations. Legal experts told Reuters that a caretaker government retains substantial authority, including over the Iran war, alongside a duty of restraint.

A warning, according to two diplomats

Two diplomats told AP that US officials warned allies about possible renewed strikes after the November 3 elections, and possible Iranian retaliation.

Energy sites and civilians face risk

Allies were urged to prepare for attacks on energy sites and other infrastructure, the diplomats said.

Market deaths reported by Houthi official

A Houthi health spokesperson said Saudi-led strikes killed 14 people at an al-Hazm market Wednesday. Separately, Yemeni government officials appealed for help for civilians under siege in Taiz.

Taiz’s water supply is threatened

Taiz’s governor said residents had lost access to wells supplying about three million liters of water. AP could not independently verify that figure.

A quieter Wednesday on the streets

Reuters saw Kherson residents walking dogs and drinking coffee during the localized pause. Ukraine said the planned six-day ceasefire around Oleshky was holding.

Relief means ordinary life can reappear

AP reported residents returning to damaged homes and workers repairing anti-drone netting. The pause is linked to humanitarian access for Russian-occupied Oleshky across the river.

Interior Minister Ivica Dačić said a minor attacked a guard with knives outside Israel’s embassy in Belgrade, slightly injuring him before the officer shot the attacker dead.
